I know this is a stupid question because they're undead, but are the Monster Cereals still around? I haven't seen Boo Berry or Count Chocula since coming to the Bay Area. They have been erroneously reported dead several times before, often when I had a brand new, fresh box in my house in Maine. It's been a while, though. Is it a regional thing, or what's the deal? Are they really gone now?

I saw them a few weeks back when I was grocery shopping. Alive here, for now, but alive forever in my heart.

Didn't use to be!

So okay, they're still staggering. That's good to know. I was worried for a while.

I'm really surprised I haven't seen an Internet cereal archive, that discusses the evolution of box art and covers things like the color battle of the '80s amongst Trix, Fruity Pebbles, and Froot Loops.

Also, what's UP with Lucky's marshmallows these days?

I miss the days of blue diamonds and yellow moons.

This reminds me of a prank I pulled long ago.

I picked all of the marshmallows out of a box of Lucky Charms then refilled it and glued it back shut.

My brother had a tantrum.

And he *knew* it was me.

I put all of the marshmallows in a cup with orange juice and ate them.

Sugar high! Woooo!
