It's the "Go!" arrow from Final Fight you get when you defeat all the enemies in an area and the game wants you to move ahead in the level.

Wow, I'm pretty surprised at the results of this poll being so strongly weighted towards inverted. Then again, now that I think about it, I play on normal and more often than not have to switch the game to inverted when I hand the controller to a friend.

I guess I am not surprised, then, except that I can't play a FPS on inverted at all.

I don't play inverted. I used to play inverted, and I'm left-handed too, which made me a bit of a nuisance when we played LAN parties in college. Man alive I'm glad people don't have LAN parties anymore.
