I'm technically in my parents house. I had to move out of my house in St. Louis so that renters (my sister) could move in because they needed a place asap after the 15th of November. On the 17th they moved in so we moved out. I just put a bid in on a house in Bolingbrook, IL today, so hopefully within a couple more weeks I'll have somewhere else to move into. Then I have to worry about getting the internet out there and stuff like that, but at least I'll have a house.

Oh, and I still need to apply to community colleges for spring classes Sad

Ah, not fun. I had to stay with my folks while some contractors were working on this house. The misses was not in a good mood after a few weeks. I hope things go quicker for you!

What degree are you going for?

i never posted on insertcredit, infact, i tried to stay away from forums in general because of how goddamn cliquey they are. i dont understand why people pine and whine about wanting things to be like days of old because i went through some IC archives and it was basically exactly the same aside from some names being different but its all the same drama

I agree, but I'm not pining for some nostalgic past moment. I just want--hope against hope, perhaps--people to just stop being children. I mean you know you're far removed from the real world when you're so crotchety that anything said about any topic sets you off and a thread becomes a shit-flinging contest in three or four posts. And it's a shame because otherwise I find a lot of the people there fun and all, and they certainly know their videogaymez.

I'm just brooding aimlessly I guess. It's how I do, I'm not as collected as some of the rest of ya'll, I guess, I get emotionally invested and things and find it hard to not care.

stotelheim really doesn't do it for me, i think the times he has been actively posting on the site I was on hiatus so I feel pretty indifferent towards him

TGQ makes me wish I was a gamer so I could be more active. Y'all are charming folks.

Case in point: Redeye. How many forum invasions end with a permanent and wonderful addition to the community?

what? i finally sent your stuff out like a couple days ago. it cost like $20 to send it so you better throw in a $10 copy of senko de ronde or whatever to make up for it! anyway, so i assume your sis can still pass it on to you? also i threw in some bonus things because i love you. i mean, to the extent a man can love another man.

He's not that wonderful, I've never heard him refer to any other forum member by name, to the point where I think he might be a robot.

it's probably just time and place considerations but i really like SB more than any other iteration of forums this "circle" runs in.

i don't know- certain personalities are definitely aligned with certain forums, and i guess i count myself among the joes and toupses before most anybody else.

Shaper, it's a shame that you're leaving the STL so soon. I mean, it's such a great city and all lol. Well, I'm in Chicago once in a while for Fight Mans Tournies, so we should probably meetup then.

I'm little happy having I think found my groove in the community here.

There are still some parts I'm not clear about, like what % of the posters are actually writers for the magazine.

Only a small %, I think

A lot of the writers don't actually contribute to the forums, either.
