I couldn't remember either, except having to shoot fire to start it up. I think it's attached to the windmill on Windfall Island.

Sierra made a Phantasmagoria-lite Myst clone thing called Lighthouse that I would assume had a lighthouse in it.

Has anyone ever made a videogame set in Nova Scotia? Lighthouses make me think of Nova Scotia.

I think Shaper is right about Myst. I want to say Okami too.

I know Breath of Fire III had one in the big "cross the ocean" super-mini-game part. Secret of Mana had a lighthouse that served no purpose, as far as I can tell.

...oh, and it would be far too easy to cheat but that takes the fun out of it.

I'm pretty sure a creature kidnaps a baby from a lighthouse in Maabus (PC), but hell if I can find any decent screenshots of it. I remember that ad being all over the place back in the mid '90s because the game was super 3D and on multiple discs. Similar scenes are on the back of the box (blue sphere of someone teleporting) but the shot with the baby is hard to find.

yes, zork nemesis wasn't a zork game originally, the name was slapped on later on to increase sales. it worked, IIRC! i never got very far in it, didn't really interest me, despite being a fan of zombies horrible games.

also, darkfall 2: liights out. a lighthouse played a pretty important role in that game.
