20% off everything in stock.

I'm going to take the opportunity to pick up Monster World Compete Collection and Rhythm Tengoku, I think. Anyone else going to get anything? It'd be cool to list what good imports Play-asia has that are cheap, in stock, and never going to be released here. Maybe Initial D: Special Stage? I've always wanted that.

Monster World isn't part of this deal, sadly.

Releases in the past 30 days are excluded. Though Treasure Box for $22~ish. That's good! It's gonna be awhile before I even am able to have a moment to scour through all that wonderful stuff!

Bit Generations are stupid cheap though. $12 for many of the individual titles. I labeled this in the bit Generations thread, but I may as well say it here too.

I bought Rhythm Tengoku and Blokus Club: Featuring Bumpy Trot!

I'm kinda pissed that I bought Monster World earlier this week instead of waiting until now. Grr.

This is a perfect opportunity to get Rhythm Tengoku for the perfect price.

I highly recommend the game.

The Japanese PS3 isn't discounted ;_;

Also, their servers are down now, presumably from the sheer amount of traffic.

Okay they're back up now.

Man I am tempted by that Pink PSP they offer. If only I played the PSP I already have.

Also this looks pretty hot.

Whoa so their US 360 titles are really cheap too:
Gears of War (US) for $35

I might pick up Crackdown and Lost Planet during this!

I think that's them after reduction?

They'd normally be $48, I'm sure.

I have too many rhythm action games though now so... I'm going to skip that one right now.

I was going to get Rhythm Tengoku earlier today, but while adding stuff to my account the cable went out. When I came back to get it an hour ago it had changed from "ships in 24 hours" to "ships in 1 week," so the discount disappeared. Fuck! I got DoDonPachi Dai-Ou-Jou and ESPGaluda instead. I'd been meaning to get both for a while.

I was going to order Crackdown, Lost Planet, and a bunch of the simple 2000 series games (oneechanbara!) but my coworkers said to wait until they looked through the listings so we could save on shipping. I waited until today, and virtually everything I wanted is no longer discounted or in stock ;_;

This page is very helpful

#95 Zombie versus Ambulance sounds very intriguing!

Edit: fuck i need to get some of these, if only for their names. Shit like #109 The Taxi 2 ~You are Still the Driver!~ is comedic gold.

More edit: I think you want #99 The Genshijin the primitive man

The PC games on this site are way fucking over-priced. Even with the 20% discount.

Hot.

I also have Fighting Angels (an all female wrestling game where every character is wearking a bikini. Also you can smash each other with chairs and pick up a machine gun), Zombie... zombie something, where you run around a city killing zombies as a chick in a bikini wearing a cowboy hat, and Demolition Girl, where you fly a chopper and have to stop a 50 foot bikini model from destroying everything.

I'm not sure what the japanese names for them are, though. These are the english versions (which you yankess didn't get).

Oneechanbara is the zombie game with the girl in a bikini! I want to get all of them, as I've only heard about them but never played any.

Resident Evil? okay the cover art is awesome

The name of this game is "the maid uniform and the machine gun", but I need to get it now

oh shit, that maid game looked awesome in the trailers. I need that one. What else is there?

P.S, all the simple games I have are more fun to imagine playing than actually play. I got all mine together for like $20 so it was a good deal.

I hear the more recent ones are actually getting pretty good, though. Like the maid one and that caveman one.

Dude, I'm enjoying ninety nine nights, a game that Wes couldn't play. The sky's the fucking limit.

This reminds me of this music video I once saw

edit: girls in bikinis fighting samurai!

That's Demolition Girl. It would be awesome if the controls weren't so sluggish. I still managed to finish it though! Entertaining enough.

Yes, but he also isn't very picky. Ask him his opinion on things, and he likes almost anything (see any thread he's made a list for). That I like stuff he didn't like, must mean I have even looser standards than him (which is probably true).

I realize there's a reason these games are all $20 new, but that really doesn't matter to me.

Edit: No this is the music video I was thinking of, it's like a million years old.

you're playing the gameboy advance equivalent of lumines. i didn't like it; some people do. rather than look up an explanation on how you're supposed to work it, try and develop some confidence in what behaviors actually make the game "respond" in a tangible way - that was the most enjoyable part of it for me.

I'm more disappointed that I wanted to wait for payday to try and secure a GP2x and a fancy colored PSP. Unfortunately the rest of the world thought the same and beat me to the punch on gobbling up those systems.

They still have those pink PSPs in stock, but that's just a bit too pink for me.
