Every time someone says that they can't finish DWVII, I always kind of want to make my own playthrough video of it. Maybe edit out the parts where I'm just gaining levels for hours. Or the battles altogether. I was thinking about playing it again, maybe I could do it on emulator. But who would watch a video that long?

Anyway yeah I've beaten it twice.

I'd definitely watch playthrough videos of jRPGs with the non-boss battles edited out

Fatal Frame 2 (Project Zero 2). Being trapped in a cursed village populated by ghosts and your twin sister, who keeps being possessed by spirits

What's the obsession with 'lonely' games though?.

Oh, but if only when I paused a Bleach episode I saw a screen explaining Ichigo's current stats, damage limits, and transformative options.

Sorry, I was unclear. I meant that I'd definitely watch playthrough videos of important jRPGs with most of the non-boss battles edited out. Not because I enjoy the stories - I generally don't - but for the sake of expanding my experience in that genre via cliff's notes.

Actually, a lot of the draw might be seeing the world map and the town and dungeon layouts and stuff like that. Hm, maybe I actually want to look at the strategy guides for the games.

We are all horribly lonely nerds and we like to identify with the media we consume.

Especially when its my "Newly Discovered Blast form the Past" or "My Game of the Week/Month".

Perhaps the GameFAQS folk need to make a way we can auto generate posts to reply to?
