What the hell do I do after I catch the Smelly Red Fish? Can I keep it in something?

Oooohh. That makes sense! Since you can't fish as the wolf it makes it a little less intuitive...

This took me longer than it should have to figure it out too
Anyways, it makes sense because of the damn odor around the fish, it's like putting 1+1 together but getting 3 ever time. _________________ “The average man has a secret desire to be a swaggering, drunken, fighting, raping swashbuckler.”

I'll tell you what took me forever. CATCHING that damn fish. I almost passed out on my bed after an hour and a half of twitching the remote with my right hand. what gives!? |

I found out the key to catching a fish with the bobber is to just let it sit in the water, then pull back as soon as you get a bite and just hold your arm behind your head while the fish comes in. You don't even need to drag him as long as you've got the controller angled behind your head.

I think I know what you mean, but my problem was getting the "fish on" message at all. The fish would swim towards my lure just under the viewable area of the screen, and no matter what I did (waggling the controller a bit or keeping it perfectly still) they didn't seem to bite. In all that time I spent fishing the reek fish, I got a "fish on" twice, catching it the second time. I don't mean to make it sound like I'm complaining actually, but is there something I could be doing better for these story fishing parts in the future? Even the bee larva bait didn't seem to help. Should I just leave the wii remote perfectly still until they bite?
The funny part is I actually enjoy fishing in the section with the boat where you can use the different lures. |
