www.hardtype.com

1. Embodies the scope and reality of our sacred mission (HARDNESS)

2. Relates to our new forum-based status (TYPING)

3. Is a legitimate and undeniable videogaming phrase (where onecoin is not - onecrediting, perhaps) with a mildly esoteric bent to it much in the manner "insert credit" was becoming a rare phrase of decreasing usage (HARDTYPE)

I feel that this is a good name, and also is punchier and less awkward than onecoin.com.

This is a convincing argument. My only problem is that it will scare people away and doesn't quite project the right image. It projects the image of a certain set of posters really well though.

It is a really really good name.

You guys realize that onecoin really isn't about video games at all, right? I mean, from an outsider's perspective.

Yeah I know.

It could at least be imagined to be about videogames though.

What do you guys think of quartercircle.com

Rockfucking Pixellantes should be a subforum of whatever King of Development becomes.

Also, as much as I like HardType, as I said in the other thread and as was said in this thread, it's perhaps a bit too "hard."

I think the harder edge of HardType suits the crew, really. We're the dudes too damned BAD for Insert Credit. That, plus the catchiness and relevence to videogames, makes it a winner in my book.

Let's call it:

fashionadvice.com

It will get more of the types we want, and then once they're inside, we jump them and tell them it is really a videogame site!

I think we should just make all of these a rotating banner, and register all of these domains, and have them all point to the same thing!

People will go to selectbutton.net only to be greated by a "toupse.cx" banner! Then they will click it to go to "toupse.cx" and get to the same place... but now with a "saveandcontinue.com" banner!

They will be the nameless forums!

(This is probably a terrible idea.)

I think that it is a great idea. Would be better than implementing a system that changes the same forum depending on domain. Your idea has more chaos, and that's lovely. It'll be another thing to piss off the people who already hated the way insertcredit forums were!

Some people have already gone and registered domains anyway.

Oh hell it looks like it would be pretty expensive/tough to get an Italian domain name.

Yeah I was going to post that we could register like 100 domains and have it be the exact same site for all of them except with a different banner based on what domain you picked!

It would have been hi-larious!

Then I thought of that!

((If I ever set up my own site I will probably do that.))
