I put hints in a lot of the unidentified ones on the project that were mine.

I was happy to see so many of mine stumping people!

Also, some of the ones that are mine are not anything specific as much as arcade art/advertisement.

And I added a way to see which unidentified banners have comments!

Also, stuff like this is great.

That's just plain old Jedi Knight. Multiplayer, at a LAN. We were boxing.

Just one for the moment, as I'm supposed to be working and am only familiar with Paint.

This one and a few around it are puzzling me.

Looking at other forum's banners really makes you appreciate how good ours are:

I mention this because a mate of mine started up Green Hill Zone a couple of years back, and I still get their shitty newsletters. The one I recieved today said:

'Although the general theme of GHZ remains constant, you’ll have noticed our banners do not! Influenced by current big titles, imminent hardware launches or something merely topical, our banners attempt to bring a little colour to the forum. Most of the banners you’ll see at the moment have actually been put together by members of GHZ. If you fancy letting loose with your arty side, drop us a line here and we’ll get you added to the banner user group! To give you some idea of the banners we’ve had in the past,
here’s the entire collection. (note: you will need Adobe Photoshop in order to produce the banners).'

Re: Darwinia...
I don't know why I gambled $20 on the idea that the retail version wouldn't have the same insta-crash driver problem the demo did, but...
I try running it on an HP desktop and by coincidence an HP laptop. I've heard there are some issues w/ Intel video chipsets but I have no idea what I'm running... I'm just reminded of why I like to stick to consoles for gaming, to avoid this kind of crap for the most part.

Awesome!

While we're at it, a shamelessly stolen strip of sorely subpar superstars:

And just for good measure, here's an old one I found lying around.

I just made a new signature. It makes a statement man! The number 25 comes from the number of EU members according to Wikipedia, and the Kotaku story which said Sony Europe launched suits from all EUs countries at the same time. If it isn't accurate I'll fix it, maybe.

EDIT _ I don't think that's as true as I thought it was so I've changed my sig.

I've been staring at the larger image this comes from for almost a week now, as my desktop background. I'm not sure why, but it gives me the same kind of feeling I got when I first saw "Christina's World" by Andrew Wyeth. Like it holds a secret. Something dreadful and wonderful at the same time.

Anyway, just my two cents. I had a little trouble getting the selection just where I wanted it in GIMP. Not really sure it's satisfactory. Let me know what you think?

I'm just really surprised no one had already done this one. Eric Chahi is the man.

I made a few. Some of them are a bit "lonely game" though. Still, I felt like giving some representation to one of the games that I have an unredeemable, fanboyish obsession with.

They're all from Lunar: Eternal Blue for Sega CD. I cropped 'em from screencaps I took while playing through the game a year ago.

This is ace.

I know what this is from. There are few classic Korean arcade games but it's safe to say this is one of them!

I'll make more later, and hopefully view the whole thread so I make sure not to dupe. But I am reasonably sure this one hasn't been done yet...

Wow, I was just thinking about making an Outfoxies one out of the picture of all the characters from a Japanese fansite...But then it popped up as I was on my way over here. Well done, whoever submitted that.

Here's another!

Freshly redrawn in delicious vector form. Mainly cause I was working on a gag image based off of it...
