Once you've heard it the song is permanently buried in your subconcious. The Muppets bit is precious though, the mouth design on those pink puppets is brilliant. Manamana is also the root of one of my favourite scenes from The Office.

i finally got to watch that douglas adams ficumentary!

he really needs to stop being dead :(

incidentally, the cd-rom version of "last chance to see" is absolutely amazing, and is the product of that same multimedia era between the cd-rom and hi-speed internet.

Oh shit. Comments have been disabled for the last chapter of Mindgame, so my flippant explanation of the end of the film is now the only explanation there. I was hoping more that I would spark debate.

Ok, first, people are making Toby Keith AMVs, I mean seriously. Also people are arguing in the comments about whether Goku could be considered an American hero since he's from another planet and Dragon Ball doesn't take place on any recognizable continent.

I mean, seriously.

Second, people are also making their own dorky Toby Keith music videos that feature FLAG.GIF prominently. Bonus points for featuring the most anti-American scene in a mainstream videogame in a song about how awesome American is. Good job kid.

Weird Al is sort of embarassing, even more so when he rehashes his material.

Now, I'm no Sonic Youth fan, though I do recognise their peculiar talent and influence, but this is David Bowie we're talking about here!

weird al is a ridiculous genius.

hey nsfw dunno if i already passed this on, but this video always makes me laugh and the song is catchy enough mostly because of his phrasing. (it's the only saving grace of their other big song, gay bar)

again, probably not totally nsfw

Dhex, I bought that CD by the way. It's... well, not that good. I mean, it's ok, but the video makes them. Anyways, their new video, "I buy the drugs," or something, is... bad.

That's hysterical. He starts laughing when everyone else does, but when he began talking he didn't think there was anything funny about what he was saying.

I thought that potentially the rest of it would be hilarious/great. I was wrong of course, but it was only $9 at least.

Hilarious because it's true and the guy playing Chuck Austen looks nothing like Chuck Austen.

This is not hilarious, nor is it on Google Video. It is also NSFW and NSFV (Vegetarians)

http://www.efukt.com/view.php?id=1592

It is a video of a couple of hunters shooting a bear out of a tree. And then having sex on it.

I don't even have the words.

That's fucking incredible. Their dogs rip it apart at the end. It's like the most debauched last days of rome shit I've ever seen. It's beautiful and also terrible.

I mean it goes without saying that those people are scum, but I'm still awed by this.

I think the controls are fine, they'd just be easier with an analog stick than a mouse.

this video from the official website is wickedly stark.

Peter Watkin's The War Game, a 1965 docu-drama about England in the midst of a Soviet nuclear attack. It's essential viewing for pretty much anyone. Not only a good sign of British film-making at its best, but a powerful film, which still holds controversy even today, and anything that pisses off those apologist BBC arseholes is good in my book.
