i think bethesda can do a better job with the fallout license than any other studio around today. hell, the idea of daggerfall with guns makes me positively giddy. imagine the sort of broken possibilities. sure, the voice acting will suck, but that's just the way things go unless your name is valve. but i think that unless one is obsessed with an unchanging, platonically ideal and utterly unreal world, there's some value in this franchise finding its way to a pc developer that at least attempts the ridiculous.

who else was going to do it? clearly not the fans.

its not as much bethesda has only really made morrowind games and those werent that deep, or that most people are happy gobbling up any little bits of shit because wow theres no information on game come out how can it. Let's also look at it from a different perspective for a moment. How is it humanly possible, in this day and age, to release a game on both xbox 360 and PC? While remaining a good pc game. well, see there ya go. a flaw in your logic, a gook in your armour. Like an arrow in gods bow, i plough into your synapses and reawaken the primal urges of playing fallout 3 as a silent storm mod. also the game should make references to fallout fanbase because lol, everybody would have forgotten about that ugly piece of crap otherwise.

see, the reasoning as I see it 'scratch' is that

1. any fallout games except fallout 1 or 2 is shit
2. bethesda only makes shallow hiking games for nerds who cant walk
3. i am right most of the time

taking into consideration these 3 things, we can therefore use immense powers of logic to
guess that, well
fallout you see. what is fallout you need to think!
then after that, then consider what
it could translate to in a game
without being like a battlefield map
such as mashturr city or that other sand one
anyway itd be like that but you talk to some monsters sometimes and do some

Well, I like Fallout and all, it just seems like you guys need to shit or get off the pot.

1. Make your own game already
or
2. Go play outside

All fan groups are kind of creepy, mainly in that there's a definite uniformity to them. Once you get past the specifics, it's all the same attitudes and all the same Internet memes, repeated over and over again.
