I'll go first. Sigur Ros is a little like Radiohead, except in a language similar to but not Icelandic (until recently), and employing an electric guitar played with a cello bow. Also, it gets slapped with the adjective "alien" quite frequently, and might deserve it, depending on who's listening. Anyhow, they've got free mp3s on the site that're of good quality. Take ten minutes and give it a shot.

Thursday is going on tour to promote their new album "A City by the Light Divided". If anyone gets a chance to go see them, please do so. Their music has had more then a profound impact on my life, and I promise that they put on an amazing show. Good stuff.

Last show I saw was Of Montreal in Toronto. They're touring the states now I guess? I've enjoyed every one of their live shows I've been to.

yeah, hell, yeah! I've been to precious few concerts in my lifetime, so I'm doubly anticipating this. I need someone to go with me, though. Darn me and my not-having-a-car.

Kid Beyond is going on tour, and his live show is definitely not to be missed. He's a beatboxer who does live looping to perform multi-layered trip-hop and electronica music using only his voice.

Videogame connect: He's done VO work for a few games, as well as sound-alikes for Harmonix games like Karaoke Revolution and Guitar Hero.
