Man I still haven't jumped onto the minecraft bandwagon. I played one of the free versions back when it first came out and thought it was pretty neat. I guess I should jump in at some point but it keeps evolving and I keep thinking maybe I'll just wait until it's finished.

But people are doing really cool stuff with it...

it's pretty dang rad. i'm actually completely lost right now near my secondary site.

built some huge glass towers at my spawn spot, etc, but can't find my way back to them. i figure if i die again i'll just try to wander towards the lights and hope for the best.

torches are going to become lanterns in the halloween update, so i'm stockpiling ahead of that as torches are then going to eventually go out rather than stay lit forever.

So I downloaded Minecraft Classic last night but couldn't play it because I wasn't able to register due to server overload :/

I can still play it in the browser though! I just can't save or do anything else. :[

Also I want to buy this but I hate using PayPal. D:

Yeah but PayPal! Is there a way to buy it without using PayPal? Could I just send the guy a check or something? I mean I guess I can use PayPal if I really have to.

i don't think so as of yet, though notch is apparently none to happy with paypal as well. maybe once it goes with a non-alpha release he'll have secure cc ordering?

but still, ten bucks.

Talk to Valve I guess. Paypal gets the guy more money per sale than having the game on Steam would.

I made a giant Tommy Wiseau in the Selectbutton server. If someone establishes a TGQ server, I will build another large thing.

If someone creates a TGQ server I will (try to, if my computer allows it) play and I'll convince Matt to play.

That statue is sweet.

I actually did buy Minecraft eventually!

Though it cost more than ten bucks by the time I got around to it!

I still haven't got around to it.

If I had the skill, I would make this in 3D in Minecraft.

I played Minecraft finally. It's good, but too time consuming now that I'm an adult with kids and stuff. Man, it's strange to see what we were saying about Minecraft in 2010.

My younger nephews love it a lot and play it on the xbox 360. They're always asking me to join them so I'll get on and we'll build something in creative mode, or just dick around in survival mode.

It's a pretty good just-dicking-around type game. One of my nephews like to build (his approximation) of characters from other games (usually Five Nights At Freddy's), fill them with lava so they "bleed" and then eventually destroy them with TNT. It really is basically virtual LEGO.
